5 simple questions...
Misleading information can cost you!

PASMAUnfortunately we are faced with unscrupulous competitors with that buy towers in from China with no understanding of the sub standard quality they are pouring on to British shores, they even mislead people in to thinking these towers have a BRITISH STANDARD KITEMARK certification or have been tested to EN 1004 (tested by WHO?). This is wrong and a real problem for UK Manufactures and that's why the government has set down a new law, (Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008.)

We will not mislead, we can not mislead, We are PASMA manufacturing members

Pasma Manufacturing members are those companies who are licensed to manufacture Mobile Access Towers to BS EN 1004 : 2004, and which carry the current British Standard KITEMARK or other equivalent mark of approval (e.g. TUV, NF Mark, etc.). Hirers, dealers and training members have, as a requirement of their membership, to use mainly Mobile Access Towers which carry the current British Standard KITEMARK or equivalent mark of approval.

The complete guide to scaffold & mini scaffold towers

Scaffold Towers (Click here for Scaffold Towers in more detail)
Scaffold towers (also known as scaffold towers, tower scaffolding or tower scaffolds) are used around the world as a stable platform at height, from which work can be done to the outside or inside of a building, a wall or any other construction of considerable size.

Scaffolding Tower Types (Click here for Scaffolding Tower Types in more detail)
The different types of scaffolds include the independent scaffold, the single pole scaffold, the suspended, or swing stage, scaffold and the hanging bracket scaffold.

Scaffolding Tools (Click here for Scaffolding Tools in more detail)
The main tools involved in scaffolding are basic construction tools, ladders, power machines and also very specific safety equipment such as safety glasses, ear protectors, fall arrest equipment and so on.

Mobile Scaffold Towers (Click here for Mobile Scaffold Towers in more detail)
Mobile scaffold towers are a type of scaffolding tower that have casters attached to the end of all standards on which they stand: these can be swivelled and moved around to be employed as work support in different locations without less need of dismantling and then reconstructing them.

Steel and Aluminium Scaffold Towers (Click here for Steel and Aluminium Scaffold Towers in more detail)
Aluminium and steel are the most commonly used materials around the world for scaffolding and tower scaffolds. While iron is the expensive option, it is the one which will inevitably last longer and represents a good investment for people who must use a scaffold tower on a regular basis. Aluminium, the cheaper option, is light thus easy and quick to move the scaffold tower from one location to another. It corrodes and becomes unsafe to use much more quickly than is the case with steel but for DIY, domestic or one-off users it is a more feasible option.

Scaffolding Regulations and Maintenance (Click here for Scaffolding Regulations and Maintenance in more detail)
Maintaining a scaffold or tower scaffolding is of crucial importance, especially if the structure is intended to last for a long time. All scaffolds must pass a safety standard test and be labelled thereafter with the sticker or label of the appropriate regulatory body.

Scaffolding and Scaffold Tower Hire (Click here for Scaffolding and Scaffold Tower Hire in more detail)
Scaffolding towers and scaffolding can either be bought or hired. Different situations will favour a different option but generally, for one off uses scaffolds are usually hired but if regular use is likely to be necessary they are purchased.
